Powerhouse marketing teams are tasked every day with pursuing and winning work, but have you ever been asked what you are doing to “get the word out” beyond the proposal? The more talented the marketers, the more they are expected to deliver on communication and marketing functions that are much wider than pursuits and proposals. Today’s marketing managers are tasked with everything from media relations to corporate communications, from social media to sensitive crisis communications, from professional writing to creative copy, and that’s just scratching the surface.

In this program, Emily Fors will explain the primary components of public relations, the way to develop a public relations strategy, key business writing techniques, and simple, tactical ways a marketing professional can execute on public relations activities without getting in the way of winning work.
