Rampart Hosting, LLC is a business to business technology services company focusing on mobile and web application development, as well as managed services delivery for datacenters, tech support services for business computer networks, and all web hosting needs (Dedicated, Virtual, Cloud, Shared, and Co-Location).  Rampart is a nearly 8-year old company whose primary market is Central Ohio, though it serves business clients from over a dozen States.  Rampart was recognized in Business First’s 2012 Book of Lists as one of the Top 25 web and application development firms in Central Ohio. 

 

Rick E. Hulse is Partner and General Manager of Rampart Hosting, LLC.  He has been with the company since 2008.  In his previous role handling Rampart’s marketing, advertising, networking, and new opportunity discovery, Rick focused on uncovering the needs of existing, potential, and new clients and then helping them fit both tactical and strategic technology approaches to meet their business needs.  In Rick’s current capacity as GM, he runs the business and directs strategy for Rampart Hosting in relation to the constantly changing landscape that is technology.  He continues to interact closely with clients and with Rampart’s team of application developers, systems analysts, and sales and marketing professionals at Rampart in order to keep connected with the latest techniques, platforms, and products.

 

Previous to his time with Rampart Hosting, Rick spent nearly 12 years working as an Executive Vice President in the chemical industry.  Prior to that Mr. Hulse was with a small lobbying firm in Columbus, Ohio after working at both the Ohio and Kentucky State Legislatures and completing a graduate degree and instructing at the University of Cincinnati
