Education Opportunities through SMPS

SMPS Columbus provides several education opportunities for our members. We provide Continuing Education Units (CEU’s) through our monthly programs and several Marketing Idea Exchange (MIX) Events throughout our chapter program year.

Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) In addition, our chapter encourages and supports members in SMPS’s Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) Program.

If you are planning to take the CPSM exam or are just interested in learning more about it, the CPSM Study Group (codenamed CPMU) will be kicking off again in 2013. The study group is free to attend and is an invaluable resource in preparing for the exam. The Marketing Handbook - the primary reading material - is available for loan from the Columbus Chapter Library, we have copies available.

The CPSM Study Group will meet at the downtown branch of the Columbus Metropolitan Library on January 15, 2013 for an info session to outline the 6-week study course to prepare for taking the exam.

The Columbus Chapter has copies of the Marketing Handbook and several other study materials available to borrow. The study group is free of charge. There are fees associated with the exam.
